Scales and fields
The scale sets the columns of the board. The field decides where the final values go.
Scales

The scale cannot be changed after a session is created, because the votes refer to its columns. Create a new session instead.
Fields
Any number field can receive the estimates: Story Points, Story point estimate or your own number fields. Choose Do not write to Jira to use the session only for discussion.
Jira writes a value only when the field is on the issue's edit screen. If it is not, add the field to the screen or ask a Jira administrator.
