YTI Magic Estimation is a Jira Cloud app built on Atlassian Forge by YTI Digital OÜ (Estonia). Teams use it to size Jira issues together and write the estimates back to Jira. Contact: support@yti.digital.

What the app stores

  • Sessions: name, JQL, scale, the chosen field, issue IDs, final values, and the Atlassian account ID of the person who created the session.
  • Votes: the Atlassian account ID of each person who sorted, and the column they chose for each issue.

This data is kept in your Jira site's Atlassian Forge storage. We do not run servers of our own and do not copy it elsewhere.

What the app reads

  • The issues your JQL finds (key, summary, type, status and the chosen field), read with each person's own Jira permissions.
  • The display names of the people who sorted, to show progress.

Issue content and names are shown on the page and not stored.

What the app writes

When the facilitator clicks the write button, the final values are written to the chosen Jira field, with the facilitator's permissions.

What leaves Atlassian

Nothing. The app makes no requests outside Atlassian.

Personal data and your rights

  • Atlassian account IDs are personal data. The app reports the IDs it keeps to Atlassian every week and deletes the votes of closed accounts; a closed facilitator is replaced by "deleted user".
  • Deleting a session deletes its votes. Uninstalling the app lets Atlassian delete all its data under the Forge data retention policy.
  • To ask about your data, write to support@yti.digital.

Logs

Forge keeps technical logs for the app. They contain error messages and counts, not issue content.

Changes

We will update this page before releasing a version that stores or sends more data.
